today I stumbled across https://ebioatlas.org/ where DNA is sampled to
find out about biodiversity distribution. I am wondering two things:
1. How could a bridge between this kind of data and ecosystem
restoration be established?
2. How could HERMOSA users benefit from such data?

Last week (at CogX / UK), I stumbled on
https://www.naturemetrics.co.uk/
the for-profit company behind this org. I thought at the time that this
would be an interesting approach to demonstrating progress (or lack
thereof!).
It does seem like some university studies demonstrating correlation
between their techniques and other (more expensive/more traditional)
measures of biodiversity would provide landscapes with another tool.
Perhaps FFI has already started this process?
